Advocado Terms of Service (Consumers)

Last updated: 9th October 2026

1. About these Terms

1.1 These Terms govern your Advocado Loyalty Account (“Account”) and your use of the Advocado app, web pages, Awesome Free and any other consumer products and services Advocado offers now or in future (together, “Services”), provided by Advocado Pte Ltd (“Advocado”, “we”, “us”).

1.2 Advocado provides the platform that participating merchants (“Merchants”) use to run their loyalty programmes. Each Merchant runs its own programme and is responsible for its rewards, offers and terms.

1.3 By creating an Account, you agree to these Terms. How we handle your personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy at advocadoapp.com/privacy-policy.

2. Eligibility and your Account

2.1 You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to create an Account.

2.2 You must give accurate details and keep them up to date. You are responsible for activity on your Account and for keeping your login details secure.

2.3 One Account per person. We may suspend or close Accounts used fraudulently, or in breach of these Terms.

3. Loyalty programmes and rewards

3.1 Points, stamps, vouchers and cashback (“Rewards”) are issued by Merchants under their own programme rules, including expiry. Rewards have no cash value unless the Merchant states otherwise.

3.2 Questions about a Merchant’s Rewards, products or services go to that Merchant. Advocado records Rewards as instructed by Merchants but is not the issuer of them.

3.3 If a Merchant stops using Advocado or ends its programme, its Rewards may end under that Merchant’s terms.

3.4
Stored value and prepaid items. Stored value, prepaid vouchers, packages and other prepaid items (“Prepaid Items”) are sold and issued by the Merchant named on them. Your contract for a Prepaid Item is with that Merchant alone. The Merchant is solely responsible for honouring, refunding or otherwise dealing with your balance.

3.5
Advocado’s role. Advocado provides the software Merchants use to run and record Prepaid Items. Advocado is not the issuer or seller of Prepaid Items. It does not hold your balance, and does not guarantee that any Merchant will honour it. Balances shown in the app are records kept on the Merchant’s behalf.

3.6
Payments. You may pay for a Prepaid Item at the Merchant’s outlet or on Advocado’s platform via online or in the app. Payments in the app are processed either by the Merchant’s own payment provider, or by Stripe, which collects the payment on the Merchant’s behalf and passes it to the Merchant. In every case, you are paying the Merchant, and a successfully processed payment counts as payment to the Merchant.

3.7
If a Merchant closes. A Merchant may close, become insolvent, stop using Advocado or stop honouring Prepaid Items. If that happens, any claim for an unused balance must be made against that Merchant, or its liquidator, receiver or administrator, and not against Advocado. Advocado is not responsible for refunding, replacing or honouring any unused balance.

3.8
Your records. You can request a copy of your Prepaid Item transaction records from dpo@advocado.me, as described in our Privacy Policy. You may use these records to support a claim against the Merchant.

3.9 Nothing in this section limits Advocado’s liability for its own negligence or wrongful acts, or any rights you have under law that cannot be excluded.

4. Awesome Free offers

4.1 Awesome Free is Advocado’s offers service. Through it, participating merchants (“Offer Merchants”) make free or discounted products and services (“Offers”) available to Account holders.

4.2 Each Offer is provided by its Offer Merchant, subject to the conditions shown with it (validity, quantity, eligibility and redemption). The Offer Merchant is responsible for the products and services it provides.

4.3 When you claim an Offer, we share with the Offer Merchant the details needed to verify and fulfil your claim, as described in our Privacy Policy. If you agree at the time of claiming, we also share your details with that Offer Merchant so it can send you its own vouchers and promotions.

4.4 Unless stated otherwise, Offers are limited to one claim per person per Offer per month, are non-transferable and have no cash value. We may cancel claims we reasonably believe are fraudulent, duplicated or in breach of these Terms.

4.5 We may change, suspend or withdraw Awesome Free or any Offer at any time.

5. Marketing from Advocado

5.1 Advocado updates. Receiving marketing about Advocado’s own products and services, including new services we launch, by email and app notification is part of our service for Account holders. You can unsubscribe at any time. We send these updates by SMS, messaging apps or calls only if you opt in separately.

5.2
Awesome Free offers. Receiving Awesome Free Offers and deals by email is part of our service for Account holders, and you can unsubscribe at any time. We send Offers by SMS, messaging apps or calls only if you opt in separately.

5.3 Apart from emails and app notifications under 5.1 and 5.2, each opt-in is separate and optional, and none is a condition of your Account. You can opt out at any time, as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Acceptable use

6.1 You must not misuse the Services. This includes attempting unauthorised access, interfering with their operation, manipulating Rewards or Offers, creating multiple Accounts to exploit promotions, or using the Services unlawfully.

7. Intellectual property

7.1 The Services and their content belong to Advocado or its licensors. You may use them only for personal, non-commercial purposes.

8. Liability

8.1 We provide the Services with reasonable care and skill but do not guarantee they will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Closing your Account

9.1 You may close your Account at any time by emailing dpo@advocado.me or through the app. Unused Rewards and Offers are forfeited on closure. Before closing, use or settle any Prepaid Item balances with the relevant Merchant, as you will lose access to them in the app.

9.2 We may close your Account on reasonable notice, or immediately for serious breach of these Terms.

10. Changes

10.1 We may update these Terms. We will give you notice of material changes before they take effect, through the app or by email. Changes apply from their effective date and do not apply retrospectively.

11. Governing law

11.1 These Terms are governed by Singapore law, and Singapore courts have non-exclusive jurisdiction.

12. Contact
